Shannachie is the Gaelic word for storyteller. And God knows, we have told some tall stories in our time!
Since 1995 we (Pat Heffernan and Patrick Keane) have comprised Shannachie. When you, the audience, get involved in the songs, jokes and shenanigans, then we have fun. Nothing makes our day more than a clapping, singing crowd.
No place in New England has been safe - from Newport, RI to the NH ski slopes and the coast at Bath, ME. You have joined us at pubs, bars, weddings, private parties, civic days, holiday celebrations, graduations, parades, anniversaries, military send-offs and you have made our day.
